中国矿业大学入选国家“双一流”建设,“能源资源高效加工与洁净化利用教育部国际合作联合实验室”是学校“双一流”学科建设的拓新平台之一。融合矿物加工、化学工程与技术、化学、环境、机械、材料等学科,联合加拿大阿尔伯塔大学、加拿大西安大略大学、美国肯塔基大学、澳大利亚昆士兰大学等,共同建设国际化高水平科研平台,助力学校建设成为能源资源特色世界一流大学。
中心主要依托中国矿业大学化工学院、国家煤加工与洁净化工程技术研究中心、环测学院、材料与物理学院、煤炭加工与高效洁净利用教育部重点实验室等,围绕煤炭/矿产资源精深分选加工、煤炭资源洁净转化及煤系固废资源化利用、煤基/矿物材料可控制备、煤基CO2捕集、利用与地质封存等开展科学研究工作。现有教授26人,副教授16人,拥有中国工程院院士1人、国家杰青1人、长江学者特聘教授2人、国家优青2人、青年长江学者1人,获省部级以上荣誉和人才称号30余人次。获国家技术发明二等奖3项、国家科技进步二等奖3项,省部级及行业协会科技奖励一等奖10余项。

China University of mining and technology is listed as the national double first-class discipline construction. The Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education for efficient processing and clean utilization of energy resources is one of the new development platforms for the double first-class discipline construction of the University. Integrating mineral processing engineering, chemical engineering and technology, chemistry, environment, machinery, materials and other disciplines, and combining with the University of Alberta, the University of Western Ontario, the University of Kentucky and the University of Queensland, Australia, etc., to jointly build an international high-level scientific research platform and help the university to become a world-class university with energy and resource characteristics.
The center builds on the school of chemical engineering of China University of mining and technology, the national coal processing and cleaning engineering technology research center, the school of environmental testing, the school of materials and physics, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of education of coal processing and efficient and clean utilization, and carries out scientific research work around Advanced sorting and processing of coal/mineral resources, Clean Conversion of Coal Resources and Resource-based Utilization of Coal-related Solid Wastes, Controlled preparation of coal-based/mineral materials, Coal based CO2 capture, utilization, and geological storage. At present, there are 26 professors, 16 associate professors, 1 academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, 1 national outstanding young man, 2 distinguished professors of Yangtze River scholars, 2 national excellent young men, 1 young Yangtze River scholar, and more than 30-person times of provincial and ministerial honors and talent titles.
